Singer Udit Narayan’s kissing controversy gained momentum after videos of him kissing female fans on the lips went viral on social media. Old videos of Udit kissing Shreya Ghoshal and Alka Yagnik have suddenly appeared on YouTube amid the ongoing controversy.

He recently reacted to the incident and talking to Etimes, he said, “Have I (ever) done anything to bring shame to myself, my family, or my country?” When the interviewer responded, “You haven’t,” Udit continued, “Then why would I do something now, at this stage of my life, when I have achieved it all? There is a deep, pure, and unbreakable bond between my fans and me. What you saw in the so-called scandalous video was a manifestation of the love between my fans and me. They love me, and I love them back even more.”
